For a breathtaking, unforgettable view, drive along the coast, where the Gulf of Mexico's gentle waters nestle against twenty-six miles of white-sand beaches adorned with graceful oaks. Beyond the beach you'll discover antebellum homes and historic neighborhoods that provide lessons in notable architecture and history.

Art and history's roots run deep in Mississippi's Gulf Coast.  A visit to the Walter Anderson Museum of Art (WAMA), opened in 1991 in historic Ocean Springs, is an enchanting and unique experience.  WAMA is dedicated to the celebration of the works of Walter Anderson (1903-1965), American Master, whose depictions of plants, animals, and people of the Gulf Coast have placed him among the forefront of American painters of the Twentieth Century.  Beauvoir, the Jefferson Davis Home & Presidential Library, is also located in Biloxi. Gulfport is home to CEC & Seabee Memorial Museum.

Mississippi's Gulf Coast hosts plentiful family attractions. The fun-filled Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, which was selected as one of the USA's top 50 children's museums, offers hands-on fun where children can crank a crane, touch a tornado, sort seafood, and a myriad of other fun-filled amusements.  During the summer, daily excursions are available to Ship Island, part of Gulf Islands National Sea Shore.  Visitors can enjoy high quality beaches, play in Gulf surf and tour Fort Massachusetts.  Tours are also available at StenniSphere, Stennis Space Center’s visitor center, which features more than 14,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, entertaining and educational stage shows and displays reflecting the history and mission of NASA.  Still looking for more to do?  Try Gulf Islands Water Park, canoe and kayak rentals, horseback riding and the Gulfport Dragway.

If your looking for great shopping, you've come to the right place. Edgewater Mall and Edgewater Village feature a mix of department stores and specialty boutiques.
