How do I learn about current job openings?

We provide simple ways to learn about current job openings at Garden Park:

  1. If visiting our facility, a list of open positions is posted outside the Human Resources office.

  3. Click on the link “search jobs” here on our online career center.

We try to update our job postings every Monday.

How do I apply for a position?

Applications and resumes are accepted right here on our website!

Click on the "career center" link and from there you can click to view openings and apply for a specific position or to create a candidate profile.

Can I apply for a job that is not listed as an open position?

You may submit your candidate profile on our online "career center."  However, we do not accept unsolicited submissions from agencies, search firms, headhunters, etc.

How long is my application kept on file?

Applications are considered “active” for 90 days.  If it has been more than 90 days since you applied and you are still interested in employment with us, you should reapply.

What are some tips for my application/resume?

  • Be sure to complete your application fully.  It is not appropriate to write “see resume” in place of inputting your information.
  • Be prepared to fill in dates, phone numbers and other information you may need to research first.
  • Be honest and complete with information you provide.  Offers may be revoked if information is misreported or purposely omitted.
  • Include up-to-date contact information.
  • Proofread for spelling and grammar.
  • Do not include personal data such as gender, race or age.
  • Submit to a specific job opening.

What happens after I submit my information?

Human Resources will review your information and, if determined that you meet the qualifications of an open position, will contact you to discuss further.  If it is determined that you do not meet the qualifications of an open position, your application will kept on file according to policy.  Please keep in mind that due to the overwhelming number of submissions we receive each day, we are unable to contact each applicant with a status update.  If you do not hear from us and continue to have interest in an opening, we recommend you resubmit your information.

What are some tips for my interview?

  • Be on time!
  • Dress appropriately.
  • Be honest and forthcoming.
  • Be prepared to sell your qualifications.
  • Be mindful that qualifications include communication skills, professionalism, and other applicable characteristics.
  • Do not accept an interview for a position you are not interested in (shift preference, pay rate, unit, etc.) with the expectation that an interview will change those circumstances.
  • Ask questions and show interest.
